Trust for a Lifetime
When Terry Gough bought his first new car, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, he could hardly have predicted that three decades later he would be demanding the same qualities from the motor oil that protects his Chevy engines: long-distance durability. “I got 166,000 out of that Chevelle, and it would run toe to toe with a lot of Corvettes,” he remembered fondly. “It wasn’t a hot rod — it was just a plain-Jane family Chevelle.” Today, Gough is a field service engineer, driving up to 25,000 miles a year in his 1997 Chevrolet Silverado.
The Gough family has protected three Chevrolets to high mileages using Quaker State® motor oil: The 1987 Silverado hit 209,000 miles before being traded for the 1997 Silverado, which has accumulated more than 225,000 miles, and Mrs. Gough’s 1992 Chevrolet Blazer recorded 170,000 miles before it was traded. Gough still appreciates the security gained from using a quality motor oil. “Ever since my first new car, I had every confidence that as long as I was using Quaker State, I would not have oil-related problems in my motors. The warranty is icing on the cake,” he said.
